2010 Is By Far Fail!

This whole year has been nothing but crapola. The  events in the past two months are immensely annoying.  Just bought a new car and three days later the check engine light was on. I took it back to be fixed and they said at first it was the air hose having a leak–then they wrote it off as bad gas and didn’t fix anything because they couldn’t “find anything wrong”. Here we are 300 miles later, check engine light back on. I am so tired of giving up my car to the shop for their stupidity. If they don’t fix it this time and I take it back a third time for the same problem, I can get them on the VA lemon law.

Besides this, my mom has had a bad reaction to her Myelogram dye. The dye they put into your spine in order to see what’s going on in your back. I spent 7 hours at the hospital on Saturday. I do appreciate my boyfriend Dean being there the whole time to keep me company.

Also, I lost my insurance so no more doctors visits, no more acid reflux medications (that work). I knew that 2010 would be a bad year for me for some reason.

Now my leopard gecko Elena has an eye infection. I have to take her to the vet but they didn’t have anything tonight, they only had it on Thursday. That’s $56.00 plus meds for her. I love the little chick so I am going to do it. No point in her losing her eyes, I just wish I could just buy the antibiotics–not like I need confirmation of the eye problem.

New Car Smell

I am now the owner of a Ford Focus 2008, black, SES (sport) edition. This car has almost every feature you can think of. My phone connects to it via bluetooth so I can talk through my car. It aso has a usb sync so I can listen to music straight off of that. Nice black leather seats and chrome details too. I will let you guys see a picture after I wash it again. It rained last night so black cars dont look good after rain.

Besides this, I had my gastroscopy done Friday. It turns out that I have a hernia pushing into my diaphragm and I have a couple of ulcers. He sent out for biopsies on the ulcers. I am hoping they come back fine. I hated being sedated and I think they could tell. They were shocked that I was crying. And then for the rest of the weekend and even now my stomach feels all the gas and air pressure.

But, one other thing we did this weekend that was awesome was the Monster Truck ThunderNationals. Unfortunately they held it in Richmond, VA. I can’t stand Richmond. There’s too much going on there sometimes to feel safe. What was also bad about the location was the colisiuem was tiny for this sort of sport. But, they did the best show they could given the tiny arena. I was going for Stone Crusher (from VA Beach, VA) and Mopar Magic from NC. They scared us all when they brought out these little vehicles with jet engines on the back. My ears are still ringing from that and I had plugs in! It was run by what appears to be propane or kerosene. It smelled more like kerosene. Then they had these cute little transformer vehicles that put on a cannon show. I think it was worth the $16 in the end.

Oh, now did I tell you guys about valentines day? We were all looking at cars that day for myself but at the end of the day my boyfriend and I went to Kabuki Japanese Grill. It was a nice treat considering the last time I went was when I was a little girl. I had my first drink of Sake and I got the steak and shrimp. Granted we had to wait an hour for our show. I was extremely tired when we got out of there. I just wish my stomach was feeling better.

Hope everyone had a wonderful valentines day and weekend!
